I have an important meeting at WPK that I'm missing. Amanda is absolutely not going to be happy and my job is on the line as it is. I swear that woman is impossible to please. I'm convinced she's just threatened by me. She knows that one day soon I will work my way up from junior publicist to threatening her very position as a partner. That's my new goal. Before meeting her I just wanted to work with her. Funny how meeting someone can shatter dreams--or make better ones.
